An Online Certificate in Teaching English to Children and Teenagers
Dates
The YLs Course is available now and teachers can sign up at any time. There are no set start/end dates for the course and participants will have 24-week access to the online material from the day they receive their log-in information.
Both face-to-face and exam components must be completed after the course has finished and within 12 months of completing the online component of the course. (Please note that require a minimum number of 4 candidates to run the exam session. You may be asked to sit another exam if we don’t reach the minimum requirements).
The exam will be run by Cambridge Exam Centre San Sebastian (ES409) on the Friday before the face-to-face element of the course.
* Please note, you can only complete the extra components once you have completed The YLs Course online. These components are run on demand. If you have any questions about either the exam or F2F component, please get in touch with us via teachertraining@london-school.com.
Prices
Prices for The YLs Course vary depending on whether teachers want to participate in the face-to-face element along with the online course. There is also a reduction in price if purchased at the same time as one of our full-time or part-time CELTA courses (only when taken in ES409, San Sebastián, Spain). Please see the CELTA section of our website for more information about the dates and content of the CELTA course. Please note that you must complete a separate application process for the CELTA course.

The TKT:YL exam must be completed in San Sebastián (Cambridge Exam Centre ES409) and payment for the exam alongside this course will only be accepted for this centre. If participants wish to complete the exam elsewhere, tutors will be able to provide assistance with finding other exam centres in which to complete the exam in a more convenient location.
